I'm a graduate student at Columbia University. Rather than a data scientist or data engineer, I would call myself a Data Author - writing and presenting stories with data in my own style.
Outside of work and study, I love cooking in my free time. I also enjoy exploring different neighborhoods and interacting with diverse cultures.

I cycled 50 km around Lugu Lake as a college graduation gift for myself. Everytime I feel vulnerable, I remember the challenges that I overcome during that ride.
I love spending time with kids either as a kindergarten teacher or as a volunteer tutor in Chinese villages.
In my first time abroad, I fell in love with this amazing city.
